DETACHED HOME IN INNER SE WITH GARAGE AND LARGE YARD

If Pippi Longstocking had a cabin, it would be this. It's adorable, inside and out. A garage for her horse and an awesome yard for her monkey and her friends. Inside, a foyer for jackets and shoes. The living room is heated with a wood pellet stove. The remodeled kitchen opens up to both the living room and dining room and features an eating bar. Also on the main floor is a laundry room with washer & dryer included, a remodeled bathroom and a bedroom. Upstairs is host to a bedroom and a sleeping loft.
Upgrades include a roof from 2017, fresh interior and exterior paint, added fences, a 10 x 12 studio shed in the rear yard, new baseboards, window trim and crown molding and updated electric heaters.
The fenced in yard spaces feature a front yard with raised planter beds and a backyard with fire pit, planter beds, picnic table, barbecue, storage shed and a new Tuff Shed, perfect as studio or home office.
The only thing missing? Pippi's Lemonade Tree...

"Favorite thing about the house? I don't even know where to start. We loved that so much and appreciated how special it felt to be living there the whole time. When it's sunny, the light in all the windows makes it feel super bright and you can watch birds in the bramble outside the kitchen window. When it's cold and rainy you can get the wood stove going and feel as cozy as can be. The fire pit was awesome in the summer. The backyard is super private along with the blackberries you can pick right from the backyard."

The Neighborhood

- The neighbors were great and everyone tried to take care of the block. Some of them made a garden and little library at the end of the block w/ flowers.
- We’d walk almost every day up to Mt. Scott Park which was awesome and close. There’s a great playground there.
- When the Community Center is open the pool is amazing and classes are great.
- Fat Cupcake is super close 🙂
- Mercado is just under a mile away so easily walkable or a quick drive.
- Foster Ave and all the new stuff that keeps coming in is close.
- For kids, Woodmere Elementary is a short walk away.
- Space Monkey Coffee is super close. So is Old Gilbert Bar. They have live music.
- Bike lane is right out front to hop on to and connects up with all the biggest lanes.
- Bus stop is a block away which will take you to Woodstock (and Cloud City ice cream page1image120972640) as well as all the way downtown.
