Built-in Style

For style to work, it also has to be functional. Creating spaces that intgrate storage and style, and allow you to switch things up here and there, let a room design stay its best. Mantles and shelves were built with just this in mind, and a cohesive stroke was applied on all the main living spaces.

Every Space is Special

Some areas are great for multi-use, such as the dining table/work table/craft table/game table. But don’t underestimate the single-use space. An area designated *just* for reading (or whatever else) makes it a special place to go, even if it’s just a corner that draws you in.

Living to Dine

In use from morning to night, this is the most traveled through and traveled to room in the house. Every angle has its own vibe and the central table acts as a hub for family activity whether it's a meal, playtime on the built-in benches, or mixing a cocktail for guests.

Beehive Bathroom

The oversize hex-tile on the walls are inspired by the original hex-tile on the floors. A reclaimed mid-century buffet finds new life as the vanity, giving plenty of counter space.

Work + Oasis

Stepping between work and play has never been easier. The office outpost looks directly out onto a lush green space. Kids can play while parents work, and lunch on the patio becomes a staple.

Pretty in Pink

Inspired by the environment, we captured the seasonal blooms for year around enjoyment by painting the office door our perfect Friday pink to stand out against the ever-so-Swedish “almost black.”

Just Add Light

The office is small but mighty, and uses light from all angles to make it feel three times its actual size. Plenty of built in storage help keep the main work space zen and client-facing-professional. Natural wood combined with lighter tones and neutrals draw from our Swedish roots - now if only the Swedish flag were pink and jute colored…

Keep it Simple

This basement on a budget project sought to make the most out of a lower level space while not hiding the fact that it’s a…basement. This bright, usable space creates a welcoming place for guests and a cool escape during the warm summer months.
